The Sunset Hill Lighthouse is located on Harstine Island, an 18 sq. mile island just off the shores of Hammersley Inlet. Part densely wooded, part developed homesteads, Harstine Island has something for everyone. Visitors approach across the Harstine Bridge, not far from Hwy 3 through the outskirts of Shelton, WA. A sparsely populated island until mid 20th century, when the bridge was built, Harstine Island is now home to an active population filled with cabins, single family homes and even massive estates, and gated communities. It has become a sportsman's paradise with fresh and saltwater recreational activities.within a couple miles of one another. As result, the Sunset Hill Lighthouse developed a section for rustic cabin decor, including fishing, hunting, horseback riding and more to provide the perfect accents for our rustic neighbors.
